SALSAtlanta was created on July 14 of 1999 by Julián
Mejía, with the support of Jorge Morales, Jackie Walls, Sheila
Sampath, Victor Hernández and Ricardo Hayes.
More than 1,000 students have passed by our studio to take the
class, and since that day, Atlanta started to see a new style
on the dance floors of the Salsa clubs. Casino. 
Now, SASLAtlanta counts with: Natalie, Malita, Kristin, Kristi,
Sharleene, Cyra, Heidi, Kevin, Mike, Victor, Tony, and Julián
to teach and help the students to learn how to enjoy this magnificent
and energetic music called "salsa".
The program being taught at SASLAtlanta, follows the same format
as the Casino schools in Miami, teaching first the basic steps
of salsa, and making sure the student gets comfortable with the
timing of the music and understand it, to then learn the different
patterns of the extensive list of figures of the Rueda.
